Goodbye Summer

We are finally getting into my favorite season ... fall! I love fall. I love the colors of fall. I love that we can wear sweaters AND flipflops. I love the crisp air and the feeling of being a little chilly but still having the warm sun hit your face. But as I rejoice in my favorite season, I also need ot say goodbye to summer. I haven't really blogged much so here is how my summer played out...

- Went to Bethany Beach with my sissypoo. We used to go there when we were tiny. It was like going back in time, except this time we couuld drink and I could carry my own beach chair to the beach. It was a blast, just me and my sister, laughing and chatting, with no interruptions or cell phones dying. It has been but on the list of "favorite moments/times with my sister". I love her and I am so thankful that we got paired up to be sisters on this crazy journey called life. I wouldn't want it any other way.

- Went camping a couple of times. I realized that if I just ignore the bugs, I can really enjoy camping.

- Had good times at the Legion with my love and his buddies. We have become regulars at "Thirsty Thursdays" and it is now where we will take everyone who comes to visit .. because whether you drink or not ... who's going to pass up $1.50 beers and $3.00 shots! :)

- One week was a wonderful, busy week filled with laughter and fun. My girl "L" came to visit, we went shopping, go pedicures and she even got me to go on a rollercoaster at Hershey Park. I love seeing her and just spending time with here. Sitting outside and chatting about life and how far we've come since kindergarten. As I put her on the train to go back to NYC, my girl "K" came to visit. I introduced her to the Legion and we shopped and went bowling, and drank some more and again, just chatting about life. *sigh* I love these girls with all my heart, and I appreciate them taking the time to visit little ol' me in PA. :)

- My other girl (I'm going to call her "K from PA") and I went on a couple of adventures this summer. We went camping, celebrated her 21st birthday (twice!), went to the Keith Urban concert and we can't forget about going to Reading to drive past Jon & Kate +8's house a few times. I'm thankkful to have at least one of my girls here at all times. :)

It's amazing, my love and I were only up in NY once this summer! That was for my Grandpa's 80th birthday party! It was so much fun but it's so crazy that we only went up there once. If you know me, you know that this is a huge feat! My love and I were actually busy this summer! It's amazing, I feel like our lives are really coming together down here. Now don't get me wrong, I miss Upstate New York desperately, but I didn't even really get a chance to miss it! But now that summer has come and gone... I need my New York! I can't wait to see it soon! :)

I love my life, I loved my summer spending it with the love of my life, my sister, old and new friends. But I can't lie ... I am so damn excited for fall and everything that comes with this magical season!! GOODBYE SUMMER!! WELCOME FALL!! I've missed you. :)
